Through American Century Investments, the firm oversees mutual funds that are invested in US growth and value equity, international equity, quantitative equity, fixed-income, and asset allocation strategies. It also has series of funds that support cancer research, and it brokers funds from other firms. In addition, American Century offers investment planning, college savings plans, money market accounts, CDs, and access to individual stocks and bonds. Founded in 1958, American Century has operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Nomura Holdings agreed to buy a 41% stake in the firm in late 2015.
